Saudi Gold Refinery’s (SGR) journey began in the gold and jewellery industry and has evolved into a fully integrated mining and minerals platform spanning the entire value chain. Building on decades of experience, the Group has expanded its capabilities to include exploration and geology, ground and aerial geophysics, drilling, laboratory testing and analysis, mineral resource evaluation, project development, mine construction and operations, mineral processing, gold production and refining, as well as gold and jewellery manufacturing. These core services are supported by integrated mining services and equipment, maintenance and operational support, logistics and supply chain management, workforce training and national talent development, technology and innovation, and industrial localization initiatives.

Today, SGR unites all these capabilities under one Saudi platform, delivering end-to-end solutions from discovery to production while continuing to expand its project portfolio across Saudi Arabia and pursuing selected international opportunities and strategic partnerships.

2030 Ambition

Building a Saudi Mining Platform with International Production

Before 2030, SGR aims to:

  • Build a sustainable annual gold production platform of 500,000 ounces by 2030.
  • Develop and operate between 6 and 10 mines.
  • Maintain a sustainable portfolio of exploration and development projects.
  • Strengthen the Company’s position in gold and mineral production.
  • Diversify into copper and other economically attractive minerals.
  • Reach production in 3 countries outside Saudi Arabia before 2030.
