Yousif is a Sudanese legal professional with experience working in North Africa and the Middle East. Having joined SGR in February 2023 as Operations Director, he was was subsequently appointed Vice President of Legal and Compliance. In his current role, he leads the legal and compliance functions, managing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal strategy to support the company’s goals and ensure adherence to local and international standards. His wealth of experience in both the legal and operational domains positions him as a key contributor to the company’s ongoing success.

He began his career as a judge and legal adviser in Sudan, gaining extensive experience in legal arbitration and governance. After relocating to Saudi Arabia, he held prominent roles in the private sector, including Director of Legal Affairs at Jad Group, where he managed legal operations and ensured compliance across various business units. He then transitioned to leadership roles as General Manager at Halla Company and Riyadh Packing Factory, overseeing operations and contributing to organisational growth and efficiency.

His career progressed further when he joined Saudi Research and Marketing as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a role that saw him manage operations in both London and Riyadh, strengthening the company’s international presence and operational framework.

Yousif holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law and a Master's degree in Administrative Law from the University of Khartoum.
